Who publishes databiomass

databiomass is published by the company HOPSTOCK. Editorial lead: Édouard Roussez, publication director.

Why this site

databiomass is a news and monitoring site on forest biomass, agricultural biomass and biomass from organic waste. It is written for professionals in the sector and published in French, English and German. The publisher’s interests are declared in the “Declaration of interests” section below.

What we publish

Summaries of information published by identified sources: administrations, public agencies, research institutes, trade organisations, statistical offices, and companies when they announce a project.

How we work

AI agents monitor a list of public sources in France and neighbouring countries, spot new items and draft a news item in the site’s three languages. An editor reviews each draft, checks the figures against the source, then publishes or discards it.

Our rules

  • Every figure comes with its source and reference period.
  • We summarise in our own words and link to the original document without reproducing it.
  • Reported errors are corrected, and the correction is dated at the bottom of the item.
  • Our content is not advice: consult a professional before any planting or investment.

The source registry

The list of monitored bodies is public and can be downloaded from the Data section.

Declaration of interests

databiomass is published by HOPSTOCK, a company that also sells planting material for biomass crops. databiomass content does not recommend any commercial product.
